Jesus said:
let no one split apart what God has joined together. Mark 10:9 (NLT)

When
the Supreme Court ruled in favor of same sex marriage truth lost and marriage was
dishonored. Why? Because God’s true definition of marriage is between a man and
a woman. By their decision the Supreme Court disjoined
the essence of Biblical Marriage. Their decision perverted marriage’s
divine principle, which God had initiated for the welfare and protection of the
human race and as a result truth lost. The Bible says: “These people have exchanged God's truth for a lie.” Romans 1:25 (GW)
Could
Isaiah have been prophetically speaking of our times? “Our
courts oppose the righteous, and justice is nowhere to be found. Truth stumbles
in the streets, and honesty has been outlawed. 15 Yes, truth is
gone, and anyone who renounces evil is attacked. The LORD looked and was
displeased to find there was no justice.”
Isaiah 59:14-15 (NLT)
How
do we know what truth is?
Isaiah 45:19 (NLT)
I, the LORD, speak only what is true and declare only what is right.
I, the LORD, speak only what is true and declare only what is right.
Isaiah 45:22-23 (NLT)
….. I am God; there is no other. 23 I have sworn by my own name; I have spoken the truth, and I will never go back on my word…..
….. I am God; there is no other. 23 I have sworn by my own name; I have spoken the truth, and I will never go back on my word…..
“Here’s a simple definition drawn from what the Bible teaches: Truth is that which is consistent with the mind, will, character, glory, and being of God. Even more to the point: Truth is the self-expression of God. That is the biblical meaning of truth.
Because
the definition of truth flows from God, truth is theological. God is the
author, source, determiner, governor, arbiter, ultimate standard, and final
judge of all truth.”
The
Supreme Court’s decision was not only an affront to God’s truth but also direct
rebellion against Him and His purpose and plan for marriage. Thus, truth lost!
