BALANCE

Tristan on the Beam in perfect balance

I love this little, big man. He is demonstrating one of the most important principles in living. Life is about balance. One aspect of it, and there are many, is concentration and commitment. Let alone the joy of achievement. Way to go Tristan and will done. I love you and am proud of you. Grandpa

Proverbs 28:2 (NLT)
When there is moral rot within a nation, its government topples easily. But wise and knowledgeable leaders bring stability.(Balance)

As mentioned above, stability is one of the vital virtues that affect life, family or government. Another example is the balance between wisdom and knowledge that results in stability which brings peace and prosperity. Consider the balance of love and truth; work and rest; faith and action; trust and faithfulness. There are so many of these spoken of throughout the Bible. God gives us this stability or balance in the Gospel, the good news, of His love and sacrifice for us. How wonderful that in Christ and through our trust in Him we have an abundant life in the balance of God's purpose and plan for us.

Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT)
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

Father, how grateful we are that in a world that is broken by sin, rebellion, disbelief and is totally unstable You, in grace, give us stability and balance.

Thank You, in the name or Jesus, who is both the center and circumstance of our life, a perfect balance. Amen

Yeah, after years of bugging you to get back to blogging, I'm thrilled with this new adventure for you. This picture of our little big man, Tristan, is a wonderful description of balance and life.

This is just the beginning of a long legacy for our kids to have after we are long gone. I think printing blog books is a great way to save the past for the future.

Love you

The balance in the world has been disrupted lately. The devil is having a good time. Within limitations imposed by God.

God bless.

Wanda,

I agree. Printing a blog is a good legacy. Let me know if you need any guidance/advice on book publishing.

God bless.

Your little grandson is doing a mighty fine job.

Amen for a Savior Who loves us so and is so willing to help as we yield to Him.

Welcome to Blogdom! I look forward to reading more from you. You sure have a beautiful, godly wife.

Hi Don, You know by now , we all love Wanda. What a sweetie. I like the picture of you sitting on the balcony. I know it's peaceful and yet entertaining for you both to sit there. I loved reading your post. I look forward to reading more. I really need to keep a reminder that God loves me always. I don't think I forget, so much as I take to take the reins. Well you know that's no good. :) Blessings, xoxo, Susie

Hello Don! We feel like we already know you through Wanda’s blog. However, she always refers to you as her ‘beloved’ and so you are!
Jeremiah 29:11 is one of my favorite verses!
Balance is often a hard place to find! I read once that some people only find it as they swing from one extreme to another. As believers, it is a comfort to be in balance.
Looking forward to future posts!

Hi, my dear friend Don.
I truly love your photo..perfect for your new blog.
Balance is a good word and is getting harder to find in this upside down world of ours nowadays.
I do find when I begin my day with devotions and prayer that my day is so much better balanced.
the Prov. 28:2 verse is startling but so poignant and true. Truth will bring new balance to our lives.
Keep up the great work.
